Invoice Processing Fee Calculator

Enter an invoice amount and your card processor's rate. You get the fee and what you actually keep, plus the invoice amount needed to net a target. Rates are inputs you set; check your processor's current pricing. Everything runs in your browser; nothing is stored or sent.

How it works

Fee = amount × percent + fixed fee. You keep amount − fee. Example: $2,000 × 2.9% = $58.00, plus $0.30 = $58.30 fee, so you keep $1,941.70. To net a target, invoice (target + fixed fee) ÷ (1 − percent). Example: ($2,000 + $0.30) ÷ 0.971 = $2,060.04. The 2.9% + $0.30 figures are illustrative defaults, not a quote from any provider. Rules on passing card fees to customers vary by state and card network, so check before adding a surcharge.
