Travel & Drive Time Cost Calculator

Enter the round-trip miles, your cost per mile, the drive time and your hourly cost. You get the travel cost to add to the quote. Everything runs in your browser; nothing is stored or sent.

How it works

Travel cost = miles × cost per mile + drive hours × hourly cost. Example: 40 miles × $0.70 = $28.00, plus 1 hour × $35 = $35.00, so $63.00 per trip. The $0.70 default is illustrative; use your own fuel, insurance, maintenance and wear figures, or the current IRS mileage rate for tax purposes. For a job with several visits, multiply by the number of trips.

Next step: add it to your price with the job price calculator.
